Amid the many opportunities for ordained priests in today's Catholic Church, Father Bacevice has shown a steadfast commitment to keeping the Lithuanian culture alive at Saint George's as well as making many personal sacrifices to minister to his congregation and the local community.  The Parish Council as well as the parishioners are especially thankfull for his unwavering commitments and vision.

Personal Information:
Born April 8, 1950, Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Baptized at St. George's Parish in Cleveland, Ohio.  Second generation Lithuanian Heritage.

Early Education:
Cleveland Public Schools, St. Aloysius School (Cleveland), Our Lady of Mount Carmel School (Wickliffe).  Graduated: 1964.  High School education at St. Joseph High School, Cleveland.  Graduated: 1968.

Advanced Education:
Borromeo College of Ohio (Borromeo Seminary), Wickliffe, Ohio.  Graduated with BA degree in History, Minor fields of Philosophy, Theology: 1972.

Saint Mary Seminary, Cleveland, Ohio.  Completed studies, received  Master of Divinity Degree (M.Div.), 1976.

Clinical Pastoral Education, Columbus State Hospital (now known as Central Ohio Psychiatric Hospital), 1975.
